Production Associates
Now Hiring 1st and 2nd Shift Production Associates! Come join a growing company with years of success as they continue to expand in Laurens County! The company manufactures products critical for infrastructure and provides conduit solutions for fiber optic, data, and power cables.
This position is full time with long-term career potential.
A rotating schedule is offered for both days and nights (work three 12-hour shifts one week and four 12-hour shifts the next).
Pay $16/hour for Day Shift.
Pay $17/hour for Night Shift ($16.
00 plus $1.
00 per hour night differential).
Convenient weekly pay schedule.
Key Job Duties for 1st and 2nd Shift Production Associates include:
o Responsible for safely starting up and shutting down of production line o Match the job order to print on the pipe and ensure that it is printing correctly (includes color, strip, tape, and print).
o Visually inspect pipe being produced.
o Make sure footage is correct and product is tied down securely.
o Keep area clean of debris and orderly and keep eye out for potential safety hazards.
o Clearly understand and follow safety protocol for running line.
o Safely operate grinding machine, set up auto pullers, adjust controls to start/stop machine.
o Handle material, refill bins, move material around facility, ensure line is stocked adequately.
o Learn other functions to assist with additional duties on line or in department.
o Other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS AND
Qualifications:
o Ability to work under minimum supervision o Good communication skills o Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
o Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Seeking candidates with high school diploma or GED.
Must be safety conscious and willing to receive on the job training to successfully learn new job duties.
