Description
Position Overview: Effectively run the Rough Mill line safely and efficiently with maximum production adhering to departmental Quality standards.
Responsibilities: Inspect assigned job at the beginning of every shift.
Communicate any problem or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner.
Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and written with all levels of plant and management personnel.
Must know the species of wood and the process of the department.
Must be able to print tickets from the computer ensuring accuracy of the information.
Set-up and make adjustments to the machines as needed and must be able to perform minor mechanical repairs.
Follow specifications for each product to achieve quality standards.
Must be able to use various hand tools.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
Must have strong communication skills
Must have basic computer skills
Preferred Skills: Previous Manufacturing experience
Generally, positions in our facilities require standing or sitting for long periods of time. These positions may require heavy and/or repeated lifting, bending, stooping, reaching overhead or crawling. Specific physical requirements for the job will be discussed during our interview process.
