Unit Secretary Ii (39463)

Responsibilities:

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Education

Job related course work beyond high school - Unit Secretary training program or unit-based on-the-job-training and meets the job education requirements for one or more of the following: PCT, CNA, or NST.

Minimum Experience

No previous experience

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses

JOB RELATED CERTIFICATION - COTR

Specific Acceptable Credentials (if applicable)

(Lawson Code COTR) Meets the applicable certification requirement if job combination is US/CN A, US/PCT or US/NST. Acceptable certifications are CN A, EMT, Paramedic, Certified Surg Tech or Certified Medical Assistant.

If job combination is US/Monitor Tech, there is no actual certification, but validation of annual arrhythmia compentencies is required.

In lieu of the Above Minimum Requirements

In lieu of Unit Secretary secretary training, will accept 6 months experience in a healthcare related field or as an Administrative Assistant.

Other Required Experience

If US/Monitor Tech, then successful completion of GHS arrhythmia exam is required.

If US/Monitor Tech, then completion of a Telemetry training program or previous experience is preferred.

If US/Monitor Tech, then Annual arrhythmia compentencies must be maintained and tracked through Learning & Development.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
